He's never quite a true babyface or heel, given his tendency to turn at the drop of a hat. He can't really be described as a tweener either. Tweeners are usually faces with heelish tendencies (or vice versa) in a way that makes continual sense, whereas Show seems to flip between the two alignments with reckless abandon. Credit, then, to @NewAgeInsiders for coining an accurate new term: hace. Big Show is absolutely a hace, capable of switching from full-on heel to inexplicable face in mere seconds. Other current haces include Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who openly champion the divas revolution one minute, before protecting Seth Rollins' title reign the next.
