10 Best TNA Tag Teams Ever

10. The Naturals

Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens weren’t the flashiest or most charismatic tag team on the planet, but they were consistently good in the ring, and one of the backbones of TNA's early years. Debuting in 2003, the duo was delivering entertaining matches against the likes of Triple X and America’s Most Wanted. They held their own no matter who they were facing.

Chris Candido later joined on as the team's manager, taking their act to a new level. The former WWF/WCW/ECW wrestler was doing his best work in years, and helping the younger wrestlers get over. Sadly, the stable ended way too soon as Candido suddenly passed away. Due to fan sympathy for The Naturals, they were forced to turn face, and paired up with Jimmy Hart and later Shane Douglas. It was never quite the same.

When the company made its debut on Spike TV, The Naturals were Tag Team Champions, and touted as part of the future of TNA. It looked like they would have a nice, long run, but by 2007 they were largely forgotten. The duo left the company, and ended up having one match in WWE where they were squashed by The Big Show.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
