10 Best TNA Theme Songs Ever

2. Kurt Angle - “Gold Medal”

Tha Trademarc has done it again! You remember Trademarc right? He’s the first cousin of John Cena, and was the man who rapped on some of his songs on his million-plus selling album.

He did most of the heavy lifting on John’s song on WWE: The Music, Vol 6. as well as appearing on his theme “The Time is Now”. He is a legend of the wrestling theme song world!

Lucky for TNA, WWE didn’t sign Tha Trademarc to a lifetime contract, so he came in to throw some stuff down, and created “Gold Medal.” It’s an epic song, that is only fitting for someone who has won Olympic gold at least on two occasions, maybe three.

The distinct siren type sound at the beginning gives away that it’s Angle, and the beat and lyrics are fast and filled with energy. It’s a bit of a shame that Trademarc didn’t create a few more themes before leaving. One can only imagine what he would have cooked up for Sal and Rocco.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
