10 Best UFC Fighters Of The Decade
9. Nate Diaz
If you want to talk about one of the biggest fan-favourites or outright entertaining stars to have appeared in the UFC over the last ten years, Nate Diaz' name must be one of the first on your lips.
Whether he's mumbling unfiltered slurs about his upcoming opponent or disrespecting his rival with patronising Stockton Slaps in the Octagon, fans have grown to adore the younger Diaz brother and all that he represents as a fighter - a no-nonsense badass who will charge head-first into whoever is put in front of him.
His decade got off to a decent start with a couple of victories, but that steady momentum was soon halted by consecutive losses to Dong Hyun Kim and Rory MacDonald (both via decisions).
He'd experience a few more ups and downs over the next couple of years, but did manage to knock of Donald Cerrone and Takanori Gomi before really making an impact in his Fight of the Night winning victory over Michael Johnson in late 2015.
After that fantastic performance, Diaz would then be thrown into a clash with one of the UFC's fastest rising talents in Conor McGregor at UFC 196 and would shockingly choke out Mystic Mac.
This catapulted Diaz onto another level and despite disappearing for three years after losing the rematch, he would go on to become one of the biggest draws in the company and even headlined a bout in Madison Square Garden for the Baddest Motherf*cka belt against Jorge Masvidal in 2019.
He may not have had the greatest record over the last ten years, but Diaz definitely became one of UFC's most talked about stars and that's why he's more than earned his inclusion on this list.
