During a light-hearted chat with WSVN-TV reporter Chris Van Vliet this past November, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson revealed there was a great chance he'd be in attendance for WrestleMania 33. Given how important The Rock has been to the event since his return at 'Mania XXVII, it makes sense that the company would want him involved.

The question is, just how do WWE use Hollywood's highest-grossing male actor smartly? The Rock is a much bigger star now that he ever was when working as a full-time wrestler, his celebrity reaches millions of potential customers. Those are the kind of people WWE want to attract.

There's no end to the opponents 'The Great One' could face come WrestleMania season. Some of them would be considered dream bouts to those who watch WWE weekly, whereas others would simply exist to guarantee massive box office from a more casual audience.

The Rock fits into a number of storylines already ongoing. Alternatively, he could be poised to reignite old feuds. Here are the best options open to WWE's creative team...

On the January 25, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Rock aligned with The Usos to take down The New Day. A lot has changed in WWE since then, New Day are now one of the most popular tag-team acts in the entire company.

If The Rock was going to interact with Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston now, it's more likely that he'd be teaming with rather than fighting against them. One suggestion would be to have Rocky join forces with the trio in a 4-on-4 encounter against a set of strong heels.

Maybe Chris Jericho, an old rival from The Rock's past, could be involved. His partner Kevin Owens would also be present. In terms of other heels on Raw who could join that team, perhaps someone like Rusev or Braun Strowman would be a fitting choice.

This is a pretty out-there idea for The Rock's involvement, that's for sure. Still, if WWE have nothing else for him then at least this one is available.
