2. Murphy
One of the most promising young stars on SmackDown, Murphy has been nowhere to be seen. He reunited with Seth Rollins on the 5 March episode of SmackDown, only to come up on the losing end of a match with Cesaro. That is two months without Murphy on our screens.
After a successful run on 205 Live, Murphy seemed to be in line for a push during the summer of 2019 during a feud with Daniel Bryan, Rowan and Roman Reigns. But from there, he has lingered in the background. A few matches with Aleister Black and a bizarre storyline with the Mysterio family is not enough for the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Murphy should immediately gain a title. He is that good. Ideally, Murphy should be the one to dethrone Sheamus on RAW. Having Sheamus be overconfident after laying waste to cruiserweights like Humberto Carrillo and Mansoor only to come up against a cruiserweight who possesses both speed and power would be a great story.
Even with the Seth Rollins connection, Murphy needs to distance himself from SmackDown. There are some tremendous competitors on RAW who he could create magic with going forward.
