10 Best Workers Across WWE And NJPW
2. AJ Styles
AJ is one of just a handful of wrestlers to reach the pinnacle of both promotions, having joined WWE early last year weeks after a show-stealing semi-main event bout with Nakamura at NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 10.
Many had tipped the 'Phenomenal One' to raise mainstream standards, but few could have anticipated such an impressive run of high-quality matches. The 40-year-old has already brought the best out of Roman Reigns, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, and even Shane McMahon in his year-and-a-half with the company.
But it's the little things, too: the way that he saved James Ellsworth from a nasty bump mid-Styles Clash, for example. AJ is a true master of the craft, and it's just a shame that he didn't make his way to WWE about a decade sooner.
