10 Best WrestleMania Entrances Ever
7. CM Punk - WrestleMania 29
Since leaving WWE, CM Punk has expressed irritation over his treatment at WrestleMania 29. Punk has rightfully asserted that his match with The Undertaker was the best of the show, and he's spoken about how it should have been the evening's main event.
Despite Punk's lingering annoyances, though, "The Straight-Edge Superstar" had an amazing showing at MetLife Stadium.
Punk's match with The Undertaker was indeed a classic, and his entrance was one of the coolest in WrestleMania history. The event has been closely tied to rock and roll ever since Cyndi Lauper appeared at the very first show, but the music had never been used to such great effect.
New York's own Living Colour, one of the best rock/metal bands of the 90s, played their hit (and Punk's theme song) "Cult of Personality" before 72,000 screaming fans, sounding just as pitch-perfect as their did during their prime.
Punk was out next, and there were no fancy robes or accoutrements - just the former WWE Champion as the fans knew and loved him, sporting a hoodie and his beautiful Jill Thompson-designed "Second City Saint" t-shirt.
He was ready to do battle with WWE's best.
