Either the WWE had some real faith that Edge and Christian were going to be stars or someone on the production team had a real thing for pseudo-vampires, because The Brood got a better and more elaborate entrance than anyone else on the roster at that time. Not only was their theme absolutely incredible, but they would come out to it by ascending to the stage via a raised platform while a circle of fire surrounded them. It had the dual effect of being able to make someone flipping through the channels stop to watch regardless of whether they cared about wrestling or not and helped to get the young group over more than any series of promos or high-profile wins ever could. It was such an effective and appropriate entrance that you can kind of forgive the buckets of money it must have cost WWE to continuously rig it, as well as the questionable decision to have performers dressed mostly in cloth walk through actual flames just to sell a gimmick.
