Commitment to the gimmick. That's the name of the game with Kamala, an '80s-style wild savage that James Harris portrayed for decades.
A persona created in Memphis, Tennessee, under the auspices of Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jerry Jarrett, Kamala was later dubbed "The Ugandan Giant" in Mid-South Wrestling.
After wars with The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and the WCW Booking Committee (as part of The Dungeon of Doom), Kamala endured his greatest battle to date: trying to make a Diva Search segment watchable.
Even the greatest giant in fake African history couldn't pull that one off.
