10 Best Wrestling Matches Involving WWE's Cruiserweight Classic Participants

2. Zack Sabre Jr. Vs. Roderick Strong (PWG Don’t Sweat The Technique)

One of the hottest “free agents” in the sport, Zack Sabre Jr. has been putting-on phenomenal technique-based wrestling matches around the world for years. He’s an early favourite for the Cruiserweight Classic, an obvious future candidate for a full-time WWE contract, and arguably the best technical wrestler in the world today.

Picking the “best” ZSJ match is no easy task, and there are at least another 5-10 matches that could fill this spot without an issue, but this was an absolute masterpiece.

Focusing primarily on ZSJ’s assault on the reigning champ Strong’s arm, the match saw Strong becoming increasingly relentless and desperate to retain his belt in light of Zack’s unending limb-destruction. This was a tale of ZSJ’s silky technical chops against Roddy’s impressive strength and wild flurries, and it’s damn near perfect.
