9. Ken Shamrock Vs. Vader (WWF In Your House 15: A Cold Day In Hell)

Chances are you've seen this clip. Its wild display of pure, warlike force earned it its infamy among the more potent-friendly viewers of the Internet Wrestling Community who are used to Tomohiro Ishii's headbutts legitimately busting heads open.

But have you seen the full match?

Ken Shamrock and Vader's hawkish scrap was, to a degree, intentionally violent. It was Shamrock's first pay-per-view bout under Vince McMahon, having come to the promotion with a Bachelor's degree in Kicking The Sh*t Out Of Fools from Dana White's fledgling UFC, but this only heightened the drama of the match.

Vader had a reputation for being notoriously stiff to work with throughout his WWE stint, irregularly causing legitimate harm to his opponents. This was unintentional - Vader knew a lot, but not the extent of his own force - however, the above clip was intentional. Ken Shamrock seemed to forget he was fighting a fake sport, laying into Vader like he was Kimo Leopoldo, and so Vader, with every ounce of his 400-pound frame, walloped Shamrock's head almost clean off his body.

The bout SHOULD be mentioned more as a pre-Attitude Era classic but with A Cold Day In Hell attracting a measly 143,000 pay-per-view buys - depressingly high for a B-show at the time - its full extent will never be felt.
