Jeff Jarrett unexpectedly rejoined the wrestling company that he started just prior to Slammiversary. It was announced that the main event-less Pay-Per-View would now be given one in the form of a King of The Mountain match.

Jarrett battled in this match alongside of Bobby Roode, Matt Hardy, Drew Galloway, and Eric Young. The crowd in attendance were very supportive of Jeff, who was the target of repeated pinfalls during this event.

This is one of the more confusing matches in the world of wrestling as the winner does the opposite of what happens in a normal ladder match to win. Also, nobody is eligible to win until scoring a pinfall. And there's a penalty box. Why not just do a normal ladder match instead?

Pardon the criticism of the convoluted nature of this bout because this Slammiversary 2015 edition of KOTM was entertaining. Jarrett even took one of the sickest moves of the night when Young gave him a piledriver onto a ladder that was propped up between the ring and the outer guardrails. It looked brutal.

In the end, the Global Force Wrestling founder took the KOTM Championship as his own. With murmurs of an invasion angle looming, Jarrett and that title are sure to pop back up on TNA programming sooner than later.
