10 Best Wrestling Matches Of The Week (June 27)

7. Michael Elgin vs. Moose vs. Roderick Strong (ROH Best In The World)

All three of these guys stepped into the ring at ROH's Best In The World iPPV to see who would be crowned the Number One Contender. The first half of the show didn't offer any above average matches, but once this came along the show kicked into another gear. This match didn't have strong psychology or anything but it was just a solid affair. Roderick Strong has had rising stock in 2015 and rightfully won this match. It might be a little shocking that Moose took the fall but that makes two pins in a few days time for him. There was some post-match shenanigans between Moose and Veda Scott. Cedric Alexander, who was the first wrestler in ROH to pin Moose on the previous week's TV show, assaulted Moose with a wrench. He left with Veda so that'll be their story for the time being. As for Roderick Strong, he will be granted his title shot against Jay Lethal on ROH's July 24th Death Before Dishonor event.
