10 Best Wrestling Podcasts You Must Listen To

1. The Steve Austin Show

€œStone Cold€ Steve Austin is the man who spearheaded the hottest period in professional wrestling. But more than that, he€™s just a massively interesting and entertaining guy who is full of stories, anecdotes and grin-inducing phrases (€œsh*tting like a crippled goose€ is a personal favourite). What you realise from Austin€™s podcast, which drops a family-friendly episode every Tuesday and an adult Unleashed show on each Thursday, is that the Stone Cold character you saw on TV for so many years is pretty much plain old, day-to-day Steve Austin. Always honest and never afraid to voice his opinion, Austin has mastered his craft when it comes to presenting his own podcast, making it the very best out there. Whether he€™s just chatting solo, answering fan questions, interviewing pro wrestling greats of today and yesteryear, talking to non-wrestling guests, or even talking to his buddy Ted Fowler, Austin always makes his show a must-listen affair. What€™s remarkable is how this true megastar of the business, arguably the greatest superstar it€™s ever seen, makes every show seem as if he€™s just sat next to you, casually shooting the breeze in the way that only Stone Cold can. When all's said and done, all 10 entries on this list make for some fantastic listening, plus some honourable mentions for the likes of The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, The Don Tony & Kevin Castle Show (purely for Kevin Castle's always-interesting input), and The Ringside Report, but it has to be Steve Austin who comes out on top of the pile. So, did any of your favourites get left of the list? Not a fan of some of those mentioned? Fire away in the comments section with your thoughts.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics. As a lifelong wrestling fan, horror obsessive, and comic book nerd, he's been covering those topics professionally as far back as 2010. In addition to his current WhatCulture role of Senior Content Producer, Andrew previously spent nearly a decade as Online Editor and Lead Writer for the world's longest-running genre publication, Starburst Magazine, and his work has also been featured on BBC, TechRadar, Tom's Guide, WhatToWatch, Sportkskeeda, and various other outlets, in addition to being a Rotten Tomatoes-approved film critic. Between his main day job, his role as the lead panel host of Wales Comic Con, and his gig as a pre-match host for Wrexham AFC games, Andrew has also carried out a hugely varied amount of interviews, from the likes of Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, Adrienne Barbeau, Rob Zombie, Katharine Isabelle, Leigh Whannell, Bruce Campbell, and Tony Todd, to Kevin Smith, Ron Perlman, Elijah Wood, Giancarlo Esposito, Simon Pegg, Charlie Cox, the Russo Brothers, and Brian Blessed, to Kevin Conroy, Paul Dini, Tara Strong, Will Friedle, Burt Ward, Andrea Romano, Frank Miller, and Rob Liefeld, to Bret Hart, Sting, Mick Foley, Ricky Starks, Jamie Hayer, Britt Baker, Eric Bischoff, and William Regal, to Mickey Thomas, Joey Jones, Phil Parkinson, Brian Flynn, Denis Smith, Gary Bennett, Karl Connolly, and Bryan Robson - and that's just the tip of an ever-expanding iceberg. Where his beloved Wrexham AFC is concerned, Andrew is co-host of the Fearless in Devotion podcast, which won the Club Podcast of the Year gong at the 2024 FSA Awards.
