Oftentimes stables band together to help their leader chase a title. They usually set their sights on one particular individual, and dominate them with their numbers odds. It's what made The Four Horsemen work so well for so many years.
Because of these cheating tactics, stables are usually comprised of heels, which is why they don't go after each other very often.
