10 Best Wrestling Tag Teams Of 2019 (So Far)

5. Daniel Bryan & Rowan

The current SmackDown Tag Team Champions have done more with the blue belts than every non-Uso duo in the past year, and it's hard not to heap all the credit on Daniel Bryan for such an achievement.

Clocking the state of the division (and the genre at large), Bryan's knack for weaving reality in with the WWE fantasy better than just about every other performer on the roster has imbibed his run with Rowan with a vital sense of purpose. Furiously intent on making fans taking the division seriously (thus, burying the booking whilst putting his team and his opponents over), the former WWE Champion has hugely enhanced the credibility of Heavy Machinery, The Usos and every other outfit they've faced since taking control of the vacant straps shortly after WrestleMania.

Rowan, so not to undersell his contributions, has worked far better with Bryan than Bray Wyatt or Luke Harper, too. The man once labelled a "goatface" still embodies the first part of that moniker, even if it took him turning heel to reascend to his pedastal.
