10 Best Wrestling Tag Teams Of 2020
AEW

FTR almost fall into the same category as honourable mentions The Good Brothers, in the respect that they started the year on a lull in WWE, got released, and made a lasting impression in AEW and Impact Wrestling, respectively.

Debuting in All Elite on the 27 May edition of Dynamite, the renamed Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood immediately felt like huge deals, despite not actually wrestling that evening. They instantly came face to face with The Young Bucks, a match that had been teased for a few years prior, which allowed fans to confirm one thing: FTR were finally being allowed to show what we had known for far too long. Additionally, aligning them with Tully Blanchard, a tag team legend in his own right, was the right move. FTR didn't need a manager, but by having the Hall of Famer there allowed Cash and Dax to blossom.

In such a short time with the promotion, Wheeler and Harwood were positioned as the team in the doubles division, a division that also played host to The Young Bucks, The Lucha Bros, Ortiz and Santana, et al. Having them be the team to end Kenny Omega and Adam Page's tremendous run as AEW World Tag Team Champions went a long way in validating this.

When you add in their superb Full Gear showdown with the Jackson brothers, and you can see why FTR are in here. Had they gotten around the WWE roadblock sooner, then perhaps Pro Wrestling Illustrated's number one ranked tag team would have been ranked higher than number four.
