Together, Sasha Banks and Bayley have never had the best of times, simply because WWE is insistent on shovelling copious amounts of tedious booking upon them. When they realigned in 2019, though, this time both as heels, things changed. As it turns out, all that was required for The Boss'n'Hug Connection to thrive was a new character direction.

2020 was the icing on the cake, though. While a second run as Women's Tag Team Champions wasn't necessarily needed at the time, it did make for an excellent visual when Bayley and Banks were in possession of both brands' Women's Championships also. Of course, their partnership was primarily about building up Bayley as the new top dog in Becky Lynch's absence, and it worked. What was surprising, though, was that Sasha was never harmed in singling out Bayley as the alpha of the duo. If anything, her character too was made far more formidable just by being 'The Role Model's' sidekick.

Bayley and Sasha Banks' 2019-2020 pairing was the duo's greatest work yet. Yes, even more so than their 2015 epics from TakeOver: Brooklyn and TakeOver: Respect. A controversial opinion, sure, but considering the partnership and, eventually, their rivalry reestablished both women as major players in WWE, this one takes the cake by a slight margin.
