3. Becky Lynch

Where did Becky Lynch come from?

The answer to that question is "hidden away backstage, because WWE didn't think she, with her funny little Irish accent, was capable of cutting a good promo."

You know, it's good becoming numb to all this. It renders WWE's utter stupidity something to laugh at. But, sometimes, it becomes too much. The fury becomes too much. The extent to which WWE exists in an arrogant bubble is despairing. You know who else is Irish, and thus speaks in an Irish accent? Only Conor McGregor, who on no less than three occasions has slaughtered WWE's highest-ever PPV buyrate. Kevin Dunn: Who da fook is this guy?

When given an elusive opportunity to succeed, Becky viciously fought and sh*t-talked her way to the WrestleMania 35 main event. Fittingly, Lynch's 'The Man' character is a cocksure badass who incinerates all before her with a witty, defiant, driven cadence. With so much festering bullsh*t literally polluting this hellscape of a planet, we live for a good takedown. It has come to define our online culture - the word "owned" is a cathartic addition to the lexicon - and Becky Lynch is a verbal landlord. Becky is so good at promos that you can almost, almost buy into WWE's "brass ring" philosophy.

What are these other dopes doing to get to her level?
