Bobby Lashley is a genetic superhuman; Braun Strowman is a Monster. This should be good.

Lashley slapped Strowman across the mush to try and unsettle his opponent, before delivering some not great trash talk: "Does that make you mad? Are you mad?" he asked, and even though "just make it PG-14" is a bad and baseless take, this was begging for a "...bitch?", just to intensify the heat a tad. Not to make a wider, cynical point or anything, but this sort of thing once compelled Vince McMahon to paint his living room walls white with a euphoric, bellowing GARY STRYDOM, WOW!

This segment in contrast was barely even sold as big, masculine bombast on commentary. Mumbles of "intensity" followed Corey Graves' half-hearted Over The Top reference, and that was that.

This is the sort of massive daft spectacle at which WWE once excelled, and yet, after a bit of clenching, and little seesawing drama, Strowman simply won. WWE even missed the chance to have Strowman spitefully bury Lio Rush by saying his arm was bigger than him.

What happened to you, Vince?
