10 Best WWE Divas Of 2015

2015 was a year of revolution for the divas of WWE, but who were the true shining stars?

2015 will go down in history as a landmark year for the divas of World Wrestling Entertainment. Regardless of your opinions of the handling of the so-called 'Divas Revolution', even the most cynical of viewers would admit that there has been a change in tides for the ladies of WWE. No longer featured as eye candy and not much else, the divas division has gained something approaching focus with the wrestling taking centre stag and multiple characters being seen as relevant in the eyes of the audience, rather than only whichever two are feuding over the title at the time. There is a long way to go of course, but baby steps are still steps, no matter how small. All of this without mentioning the true Divas Revolution in WWE, which has taken place in the magical confines of NXT. With the call up to the main roster of some of NXT's major players there was something approaching trepidation regarding the future of the NXT Women's Division, but the strength in depth show since is remarkable. Who has excelled during this banner year? Which ladies have stepped up to the plate (or the crease, to use a more palatable to home term) and knocked it right out of the park?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
