World Wrestling Entertainment history is dotted with some of the most memorable and beloved characters, not to mention some of the most controversial and compelling figures in the annals of sports-entertainment. Since the release of "The Rise and Fall of ECW" in 2004, WWE Home Video has brought those characters into the homes of fans across the globe, introducing them to the stories and matches that have helped make them iconic in the WWE pantheon. It has also been responsible for feature-length documentaries detailing the demise of popular promotions, the history of legendary factions and the all-time great managers that have guided top stars to championship glory. With a wealth of video from dozens of territories at their disposal and interviews with some of the most influential stars and personalities ever, WWE Home Video has become the elite source for sports-entertainment production. On November 18, WWE will release the long-awaited, much-anticipated "Macho Man: The Randy Savage Story," a documentary and match set looking at the career of one of the sport's most beloved and enigmatic stars. If early reports from WhatCulture's own Grahame Herbert are indication, the DVD/Blu-Ray set appears to be another classic addition to the WWE catalog. Nothing is off-limits, including brief hints at the relationship with Stephanie McMahon, making the set not only must-see for fans of the decorated performer but for those who appreciate the backstage news and dirt that oftentimes are present on releases, which tend to skew toward older audiences.
