4. Bret "Hitman" Hart: The Best There Is, The Best There Was and The Best There Ever Will Be

Did you know that Bret €œHitman€ Hart was nearly €œCowboy€ Bret Hart? If not, you will after watching the 2005 WWE Home Video release dedicated to one of the most celebrated and respected stars in company history. Eight years in the making, it was the first instance of Hart and Vince McMahon mending the fences to ensure that the former€™s legacy not only remained intact but that his catalog of matches be released for a new generation of fan to watch and enjoy. One of the biggest and most important releases ever, the DVD was met with critical acclaim. An essential piece in any fan€™s collection, the presentation is the most complete and in-depth look at the career of the Hitman prior to his autobiography release in 2009. From the attention paid to his time in Stampede Wrestling to his early days in WWE and the grueling climb to the top of the industry, Hart leaves no stone unturned in the telling of his story. Sure, all of the tragedy that surrounded the later portion of his career, be it Montreal or the death of brother Owen, is discussed but it is the passion and emotion Hart brings to the table in regards to his career and many accomplishments that really tells the audience just how much pride he had, and still has, in the pro wrestling business. The matches are a smoargasboard of excellence, not that anyone would expect any differently. The early tag bouts between the Hart Foundation and the British Bulldogs are there, as is a 1986 match between Hart and Ricky Steamboat that is every bit as good as it sounds. The classic Intercontinental title bouts against Mr. Perfect and British Bulldog are there, as are rare bouts with the likes Bam Bam Bigelow and The Undertaker. All of the expected hits are there, as well as the underrated gems selected by Hart himself.
