The promo Wyatt cuts on Cena is identical to the one Kurt Angle delivered on the June 27th, 2002 episode of SmackDown when the future WWE Hall of Famer made his main roster debut and confronted the Olympic Gold Medallist. When Angle asked the young Cena what made him think he could step up to him, he responded with "Ruthless Aggression!" and a slap to the face.

That backfires on Cena multiple times in this Firefly Fun House match as he finds himself stuck in some sort of loop, repeatedly trying and failing to make his WWE debut the way he did eighteen years ago.

The generic trunks Cena is shown wearing here are a reference to his "classic" ring gear when he would don the colours of the local sports team to curry favour with fans (this outfit appears to be a reference to the Orlando Magic basketball team), but even cooler than that is the fact he has the same generic entrance music which he awkwardly makes his way to the ring to!
