10 Best WWE Hell In A Cell Matches Ever

8. Batista Vs. The Undertaker (Survivor Series 2007)

An underrated big match wrestler, Batista always had great chemistry with The Undertaker in particular. Their rivalry yielded his career's strongest collection of bouts, and at Survivor Series 2007, they concocted a fierce brawl that lived up to the stipulation's bloody legacy.

The late-match angle (in which Edge disguised himself as a cameraman to get the jump on 'Taker) was memorable, but doesn't overshadow the action preceding it. 'The Animal' and 'The Deadman' beat the sh*t out of each other. Big bombs started landing after 10 minutes in, and a grisly blade job eventually had Batista coated in claret. There were table bumps, a Tombstone on the steps, and several unprotected chairshots right to the dome, but the ghastliest visual remains Undertaker slamming his opponent onto a chair's edge throat-first. Batista collapsed immediately, retching out a mouth of blood on the canvas. Pure nightmare material.

Edge's interference made for a controversial finish, and a clean pin would've undoubtedly given Batista a strong rub upon defeating his legendary opponent. Still, he got to go over a WWE icon in a stipulation he helped make famous. Complaining seems foolish.
