The Undertaker is known for being a specialist in a number of different stipulation matches like Hell in a Cell, the Casket Match and the Buried Alive match. He's not the type of guy that has been in a lot of Last Man Standing matches, but the one he had with Batista at Backlash 2007 was an exciting brawl that did a great job as a follow up to their match at WrestleMania 23. It was a lot different than their WrestleMania match because they could use weapons in this one. They're also two of the best power guys ever, so they had a variety of moves they could utilize. Seeing Undertaker run the rails and give Batista a leg drop through the announce table wasn't something we usually saw, but it worked in this match. There was big move after big move all throughout the 20 minute battle. There were counters of the signature spots that we had gotten used to for both guys. Batista even bled to add the story. Big moves like Chokeslams, Powerbombs, Spears and everything else they had in their bag of tricks were not enough to get the job done. For the finish, they went up to the ramp and Batista gave Undertaker a Spear off the stage that sent both guys crashing into some tables below. They were both counted down for a count of ten as the match officially ended in a draw. The finish of the match didn't settle things between them, but it set up more matches. That wasn't a bad thing because they had such incredible chemistry.
