10 Best WWE Moments From Wrestlers Who Just Got Released
9. Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson Make Their WWE Debut
The Bullet Club was one of the hottest factions in wrestling back in the mid-2010s, and the arrival of wrestlers like Finn Balor and AJ Styles in WWE got fans seriously excited about a possible reunion. Rumours swirled that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson would follow, and when they invaded the Staples Center in Los Angeles in street clothes to take out The Usos, speculation started running wild.
As surprise debuts go, this worked wonderfully, and the hype surrounding what was to come for them in the company was massive. After taking out The Usos, they set their sights on Roman Reigns and started helping a reluctant AJ Styles both against The Big Dog and John Cena.
That would lead to a heel turn for the Phenomenal One, but the trio was split up in the WWE Draft, and Gallows and Anderson never really managed to rebound (even as The O.C.). Still, as disappointing as that was, there's no denying that this was a killer debut for the fan-favourite team, and not one that's easily replicated given how many conflicting reported we had heard about whether it would happen.
