3. Chasing The Magic: The Nigel McGuinness Story

Nigel McGuinness cut quite a divisive cloth across the wrestling fanbase after the release of his self-made 'Last Of McGuinness' documentary in 2012. It profiled his final days as an active independent wrestler after a rescinded WWE offer and TNA career in turmoil following a hepatitis diagnosis that left him at the end of an exhausting road.

The industry was wildly different at the time, with an independent scene nowhere near fertile enough to furnish everybody's dream job let alone that of a man who's dreams predominantly existed within Vince McMahon's empire. His story was heartbreaking, or would have been if the industry wasn't heartless.

Chasing The Magic was subsequently a far more satisfying sequel, finding Nigel less enslaved by the soul-crushing sadness underpinning his first, brave visual diary. He's incredibly open about his personal struggles yet again, but the Network almost does too well with the subject matter - McGuinness' journey is paired with that of legendary Ring Of Honor opponent Daniel Bryan, resulting in a conclusion begging for the two tangle one more time to give McGuinness at least one taste of life as a WWE Superstar.
