10 Best WWE Promos Of The Decade

2. "This Is My Yard Now"

Roman Reigns to the WWE Universe

Monday Night Raw - April 4th, 2017

"This is my yard, now"

Not since "I just whipped your ass" have 5 words landed quite as profoundly via a WWE microphone. Following the immensely unpopular decision to have Roman Reigns beat The Undertaker in the WrestleMania main-event, the Big Dog headed down to the ring to rubber-stamp the victory. In front of a rabid Raw-After-Mania crowd, the opening notes of his entrance music drew almost apocalyptic boos.

Reigns, in a rare moment of calm under fire, simply soaked up the booing and stood, silent and unmoving in the middle of the ring, for over 2 minutes. Finally lifting the microphone to his mouth, cutting through the hatred, delivering his line, dropping the mic, and walking out. This should have been the start of a vicious devil-may-care heel run but, by Payback, he was valiantly fending off Braun Strowman.
