10 Best WWE Rookie Years
1. Brock Lesnar
Lesnar, twice an NCAA All-American, made his WWE debut in March 2002, and spent the next couple of months beating up on the Hardy Boyz, feverishly egged on by Paul Heyman, who described his client as "The Next Big Thing". Within a couple of months, Lesnar had graduated to beating up on The Rock, whom he duly defeated to become the then-youngest WWE Champion in the company's history.
By the time his first twelve months had drawn to a close, Lesnar had claimed the 2002 King of the Ring and the 2003 Royal Rumble, beaten Undertaker in his own Hell in a Cell match and main evented WrestleMania alongside Kurt Angle (a bout he finished despite suffering a nasty concussion). If there has been a better rookie year than that of 'the Beast', we're yet to see it.
