It's incredible just how much of Sami Zayn's WWE run thus far has been built around his relationship with Kevin Owens. If he's not teaming up with him to take down the SmackDown hierarchy, he's beating the crap out of him in the ring.

The first time we saw this on the main roster came at the 2016 Royal Rumble, when Zayn - who had been out months thanks to an injury sustained on NXT - finally got the call-up as a surprise entrant at number 20.

The agonised look on KO's face as the Underdog From The Underground came running down the entrance ramp was a sight to behold; a rare genuine mark-out moment, alongside the debut of AJ, on a sour night where Triple H decided to crush everyone's dreams at the death.

Sami scored just one elimination (no prizes for guessing which former Ring of Honor adversary he managed to toss over the top rope) before walking into a Braun Strowman-sized wall after a little under five minutes in the ring.
