Kurt Angle versus Brock Lesnar was the feud that defined 2003, a year that was otherwise noted for an excruciatingly long Triple H world title reign on Raw, and for being the last time Stone Cold and The Rock were full-time wrestlers.
They delivered every single time they stepped into the ring together. Not even one of the all-time great WrestleMania botches - in the shape of a mistimed Shooting Star Press from Lesnar - could prevent them from bringing the house down in Seattle, neither the involvement of Vince McMahon months later at SummerSlam.
Things culminated on SmackDown of all places in a pulsating Iron Man match that went to the very last second. And, apart from being a fitting way to end the feud, it also goes down as one of the very best TV matches in wrestling history.
