10 Best WWE Singles Pairings To Ever Win Tag Team Gold
6. Eddie Guerrero And Rey Mysterio
Eddie Guerrero's death shook the wrestling world to its core. He had created fans all over the world as a lovable rascal who had as much pure talent as anyone in the industry. Fans were overjoyed when he finally scaled the mountaintop, defeating Brock Lesnar for his first and only WWE Championship win.
This was not however, Guerrero's last title victory. Falling out of the World Title scene, Guerrero sought new ways to make an impact. He would team with Rey Mysterio, another world-traveled veteran, to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships in 2005.
Mysterio and Guerrero were no strangers to each other, as they had once set the wrestling world ablaze as foes in WCW's Cruiserweight division. Keeping with that notion, the highlight of their tag title run was their mutually-respectful clash at WrestleMania 21. This would ultimately lead to one of the more bizarre feuds of either man's career, involving Rey's son Dominick.
These two men boast far fewer World Championship runs than other entries on this list, and their place amongst their peers is etched in stone. Guerrero and Mysterio have greatly influenced countless future wrestlers, and their impact on the wrestling business continues to grow.
