10 Best WWE SmackDown Matches 2015

7. Randy Orton, Cesaro, Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus, Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper (August 20)

As aformentioned in a previous entry, Smackdown is viewed as the ideal place for WWE to put on big multi-man matches in place of actual storyline development. Thankfully, some of those matches can actually help motor some feuds along, even if they're not the promotion's usual method of doing so. An August 20 8-man tag-team match was worth viewing, and did further some stories. Days before SummerSlam, WWE mixed a few issues together. On the pay-per-view, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns were set to collide with The Wyatt Family, so all were involved here. In addition, Sheamus and Randy Orton were feuding, so they were included. Cesaro and Kevin Owens rounded out the field, which was an impressive array of talent. It's common for these matches to dissolve into a blur of finishing moves, which did happen at points throughout this one. That can't be considered a bad thing, because it did make the program worth watching. It was also cool to see the likes of Luke Harper, Cesaro and Kevin Owens in a main event situation, alongside some names WWE commonly place in the top line mix. The babyfaces were given the win after around 15 minutes, sending everyone home happy.
