When Shane McMahon returned to WWE in 2016, he had a reputation for being a daredevil-type competitor when he stepped between the ropes. Time would tell whether The Boy Wonder would still throw caution to the wind in an effort to win a match, but he didn't disappoint by jumping off the incredibly high Hell In A Cell roof at WrestleMania 32.

The Evil Knievel-like style of Shane McMahon was not created overnight. In fact, it took several years worth of matches before WWE fans came to expect regular craziness every time Shane laced up the Jordans.

Although his first high-profile match against X-Pac at WrestleMania XV didn't feature any stunt-like coordination or preparation, Shane-O-Mac's next big PPV match is when fans started to take notice of his testicular fortitude.

Coming out of the SummerSlam '99 Love Her Or Leave Her Match in which he won the "rights" to date Stephanie McMahon, Test was seen as the next major WWE superstar. Many fans looked at Test as the star of the fantastic SummerSlam match and hopes were high for the real-life Andrew Martin.

While things didn't exactly play out that way for Test, the two performers stole the show at SummerSlam '99 and the WWE Universe got its first taste of what was to come involving Shane-O-Mac.
