10 Best WWE Superstar Halloween Costumes 2017

4. Sheamus (Mad Sweeney)

There was no way Sheamus was going to dress up as a cartoon mutt. No chance. The big Irishman didn't even reprise his role from the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and dress up as Rocksteady. Instead, he slicked back the hair, threw on a Dean Ambrose vest and played the role of Mad Sweeney.

This is where things get funny and Sheamus shows his sense of humour. The character is from American Gods and is (wait for it) a Leprechaun. Sweeney isn't quite the kind of happy-go-lucky Irish stereotype you'd find on a box of Lucky Charms though, but he's clearly one of the WWE star's favourite TV characters.

Hilariously, Sheamus claimed the show's producers had ripped him off when coming up with the character in the first place, and he tagged actor Pablo Schreiber in posts on Twitter for a laugh. The best thing about this is that Sheamus doesn't appear to be a party. He's just in his house taking poor-quality selfies.
