10 Best WWE Tag Teams Of The 2010s
2. The New Day
When The New Day first debuted, if someone had said that they would be one of the most beloved acts in WWE today, be record-breaking tag team champions, and have a WWE Champion in their ranks, we'd have told them to stop hanging out with RVD so much.
The faction originally hit the main roster in 2014 with a gospel-style gimmick. They were optimistic babyfaces who preached "The Power of Positivity" and, because wrestling fans are awful, this got them booed.
WWE ran with the fan reaction and slowly turned The New Day heel. They won the tag team titles twice in 2015, their second reign lasting a record-breaking 483 days.
As obnoxious heels, The New Day were allowed to show some real character and charisma and WWE fans lapped it up. They proved so popular as bad guys that they became good guys again and have stayed that way ever since.
The team are six-time tag team champions in total and have had legendary feuds with The Bar, The Shield, and The Usos, the latter of which they put on a series of classics with during the summer of 2017.
The New Day are one of the best acts that this last decade has produced and have secured their place in WWE history.
