Cena's two matches with Owens, along with the Royal Rumble triple threat against Lesnar and Rollins, are arguably the three best WWE matches all year. With three match of the year contenders to his name already, let's not forget that he's also just had the best TV match of the year, against Cesaro on Raw. In addition to all of that, he's had very good matches with Neville, Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose in the course of his US Title Open matches. His long feud with Rusev wasn't anything spectacular, but it was of a decent standard. So taking all that into account, even the most cynical fan must admit that Cena has been a very good in-ring wrestler this year. Of course, you'll always get those fans who say he was just carried to those great matches by superior opponents, but as Kevin Owens recently told the Chad Dukes Radio Show, "Anybody who says that is not a very good professional wrestler and a very good performer all around is kidding themselves. I know he gets a lot of years a lot of hate from a lot of people for various reasons, but anybody who denies the talent, John Cenas talent in the ring, is really in denial. Hes a fantastic competitor." Cena gets the biggest reactions, sells the most merchandise, does the bigger tv ratings, cuts great promos, and in 2015 is having fantastic matches. He's an asset to the WWE and remains what every other wrestler is aspiring to be.
