10 Big Changes Coming To WWE On Netflix

6. New Sets

The Netflix era will be an unprecedented, historic one for WWE for all the reasons listed here, and as such, it stands to reason that Raw could see some changes.

WWE has rolled out new sets throughout Raw and SmackDown’s runs on television, with some of the changes being subtle shifts, and others being dramatic overhauls. When SmackDown moved to FOX in 2019, the stage was completely reworked, featuring metal girders rising up and fanning out from the LED center, and a series of curved LED panels resembling parenthesis flanking the entrance.

With WWE already proclaiming the move to Netflix being a new era for Raw, it would stand to reason that the company will want to have a visual launch as well. They’re not going to use a six-sided ring, and they probably won’t ditch the red-heavy color scheme that has defined the brand for decades, so a new stage and entrance set is the most likely change we’ll see in January.

Just don’t expect to see the percentage of LED screens (which has to be in the 95% range) decrease.
