10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Hell In A Cell 2020
4. Major Stars Will Be Absent
Another problem with the unbelievably small card is the fact that it will probably result in a number of major stars missing the event. Granted, we have the likes of Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Jeff Hardy in big-time matches, but what about headliners like AJ Styles, Asuka, The Fiend, Seth Rollins and the newly-returned Daniel Bryan?
If we're talking about SmackDown superstars, Rollins could always find himself battling Rey and/or Dominik Mysterio in some kind of variation of the match we've seen multiple times but that in itself presents a number of problems. First of all, it becomes an unnecessary last-minute addition to the card (even though something from the program should feature considering the company has been continuing it for weeks) and secondly, we don't need to see that again - ironic considering this was one of the feuds that could have warranted the cell itself.
Regardless of whether that happens or not, Hell In A Cell could end up being considerably light when it comes to major stars (or any superstars for that matter) and, considering the final quarter of the year has been known to be a somewhat more difficult time for WWE in terms of drawing viewers, that's not a good thing.
