10 Big Improvements AEW MUST Make Before All Out
4. Sign The Guy
As talented and potential-packed as AEW's roster is, it needs more stars. Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Cody, and Hangman Page are great, but AEW needs another game-changer or two. It needs a Lex Luger crossing over from Raw to Nitro in 1995. It needs someone capable of shifting masses of tickets on name value alone. A franchise player.
'The Guy,' or equivalent.
Mending fences with PAC, who has the potential to be a major player and a top-line heel (another thing the roster is low on) makes sense, and a potential ace may fall into AEW's lap if Sasha Banks gets her release. Really, though, it's CM Punk... isn't it?
Wrestling writers (this one included) will be crowing on about Phil Brooks "definitely" returning to wrestling when the man himself is 65 years old. Regardless, his upcoming Starrcast appearance is the strongest suggestion that he'll yet return to a sport he claims to hate. There's certainly money on the table for him if he chooses to do so, and AEW should do all within their power to make it happen, particularly as All Out goes down in Chicago.
