6. Ambrose And Owens And Itami Vs. Balor Club
That first angle would establish Balor Club's first feud. It makes sense that it would be against Ambrose, as he's an upper-tier star, but isn't figured into any plans going forward. As for getting Owens involved, he's similar to Ambrose in that he needs something to do, some direction. Having a heel and face, especially a feuding pair, forced together to take on mutual enemies is an intriguing narrative. As for Balor Club being heels, it makes sense. All great factions (see DX, the nWo, The Shield and The Four Horsemen) are heel forces. The merchandise will still sell, based upon the fact that Balor and the group's rebel vibe makes them cool heels. Plus, the black t-shirt with white text is always a big seller (Austin 3:16 and nWo, anyone?). In promos Balor would reveal the motivation for attacking Ambrose and Owens, saying that what makes Balor Club so dangerous is they attack indiscriminately. The attack was a statement to put WWE on notice. He'd then reveal that he's been masterminding his rise for a long time, revealing that it was Balor Club who actually put Hideo Itami on the shelf last year. That then resulted in Finn getting the NXT title shot. As part of that revelation, Itami would come up to Raw. He's due back soon and is good enough to be on the big stage. It would be a decent way to get him involved and introduced as a character to the masses. For a few months there'd be Ambrose and Owens and Itami versus Balor and Gallows and Anderson. Balor Club would win all the matches, with Owens eventually going back to being a full-blown heel.
