John Cena is a very interesting case right now in WWE. Hell turn forty next year and has been doing far more work outside of wrestling in the last year or two. Is the end in sight? Possibly.

He has always talked about not wanting to stick around too long, and the time to seize his burgeoning mainstream opportunities is now. Theres arguably even more money in television and film for him, and hes shown solid potential.

The problem with that is, how does WWE book the end of the Cenation? A sixteenth world championship would make sense in this last hurrah, but then thats at the expense of the next generation.

Rather than celebrating Cenas career, the company really do need to focus on replacing him. But it feels almost inevitable that the return of Cena will be just another chapter in glorifying him at the expense of others.
