9. Was Sheamus The Right Choice To Win The Money In The Bank Briefcase?
There was a poll that was set up here on WhatCulture asking readers who they thought was going to win the Money in the Bank contract ladder match. Roman Reigns led the poll overwhelmingly with 60% of the vote while the eventually winner Sheamus only got 5% of the vote. To say that Sheamus winning the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase was a shock would be an understatement. It's definitely something that came out of nowhere because he's been portrayed as a midcard heel since coming back from injury rather than a top guy. Perhaps there's a plan for him to win the WWE Title soon, possibly join The Authority and then have a feud with a big time babyface like Brock Lesnar. It would certainly be a step up in opponent for him, but if WWE wants to book him as a top heel then they have to book him a lot more stronger than they have been in the last few months. At the moment it feels like a letdown to see Sheamus as the Money in the Bank winner. However, it could turn out to be a positive thing if he can become a main event level heel again.
