10 Big Questions From WWE Elimination Chamber

2. Does Another Cheap Ending Make Seth Rollins A Bad WWE Champion?

It's been a little over two months since Seth Rollins has been WWE Champion and during that time he's escaped with the title on three major shows with none of those escapes coming after clean wins. The match at Extreme Rules saw Rollins win a cage match against Randy Orton after heavy interference by Kane and others. Payback ended with more interference as Rollins got past Orton, Reigns and Ambrose in a fatal fourway. Then at Elimination Chamber he only won by disqualification after pulling a ref in front of him, so that the ref took the bump. As a heel champion that has the power of the main heel group backing him, Rollins' role is to win in cheap fashion. That's just how it is for him and how it has been for a lot of heels in that position before him. It would be nice for Rollins to win clean in a PPV match, but that's probably not going to happen. If that frustrates you the viewer then they are accomplishing what they set out to do. The whole point of that finish with Ambrose nearly winning is to lure the viewer in to watch the next match in two weeks to see if Ambrose can get the job done. It's a perfect way to build one show to another.
