9. Are The Prime Time Players The Next Tag Team Title Contenders?
The New Day won the first ever Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber match, which wasn't that much of a shock. Since they were only champions for about one month it would have been too soon to take the titles off them. What was a bit of a surprise is that the Prime Time Players duo of Titus O'Neil and Darren Young lasted until the end of the match. They really haven't been in the title picture since they were put back together, so it appears as though they might step up as a good challenger. That's a good move because we've seen Kidd/Cesaro vs. New Day so many times. Even though those teams have great matches, you can only do it so many times before it feels old and repetitive. Let's see what the PTPers can do as top contenders and if they are able to get over the hump by winning the tag team titles for the first time. As for New Day, that trio continues their roll as an awesome tag team that can have great matches and be very entertaining at the same time. The tag division is in a good place right now.
