7. Is Lana's Story With Dolph Ziggler Dead Due To Rusev's Injury?
Rusev is out with a broken foot. It could be a few months until we see him in the ring again. That sucks for him because he's at a point in his career where he really needs to keep proving himself and grow as a heel in WWE. That injury is also bad for his real life girlfriend and former on screen girlfriend Lana, who is now stuck in angle with Dolph Ziggler that is crawling along at a snail's pace. They went from gently kissing on television a few weeks ago to having awkward conversations backstage at Elimination Chamber where it looked like they had never seen each other before. It has reached the point now where they have to push this angle further pretty quickly or just drop it all together. If Rusev is out of the picture for a few months then there's no point in having Lana out there with Dolph while he goes to the ring to lose matches. What's the direction for these characters? It's hard to really tell right now.
