Last week, WrestleZone reported a rumour that Los Matadores are set for a gimmick change. This was seemingly confirmed on Raw, as Diego took out his frustration on El Torito, blaming him for a miscommunication during their loss to the Dudley Boyz. Bubba and D-Von took exception to the Matador's post-match bullying of the little guy and slammed him through a table, but the real story here is the very real possibility of a heel turn. Without El Torito in their ranks, the bland Matadores will surely struggle to stand out. The pair are almost indistinguishable from one another, don't appear with any sort of regularity, and are perhaps the least over tag team in the whole division. Hopefully their new gimmick is a damn impressive one, because they'll soon drop off the map otherwise.
