10 Big Questions From WWE SmackDown (July 23)
3. Is Cesaro Now The Go-To-Guy?
It wasn't so long ago that Cesaro's singles outings were restricted to Superstars, but ever since his US title match with Cena on RAW, the Swiss Superman has been having match of the night contenders on every RAW and SmackDown.
In addition to being entrusted with the task of having great, show-stealing matches, Cesaro was also given the honour of becoming only the second man to pin Rusev on the previous SmackDown (after Cena at Wrestlemania, of course) - a feat that the announce team were quick to recognise, and made to look like a big deal by Cesaro himself with his jumping into the crowd celebration.
The match with Rollins was perhaps not as stellar as Cesaro's previous recent bouts, but the very fact he was in the main event opposite the WWE Champion raises the question of whether Vince McMahon has begun to change his mind about the man he previously dismissed as lacking the 'it' factor.
